Description
Heavy-Duty Rollator (rolling walker with seat)
The Heavy-Duty Rollator is the same as the standard Rollator but designed to support up to 350 lbs. or 160 kg. This heavy-duty rollator is more substantial. Although it is portable, it is not lightweight.
Do you need a rollator or a walker?
The difference between a walker and a rollator is the wheels. Although a walker can have 2 or 4 wheels, generally they have 4 legs that do not have wheels. Sometimes there are glides on the front to help them slide on indoor surfaces. A rollator has 4 wheels. There is usually a seat that can be used to rest. The rollator is not designed to be moved while someone is seated. For that, you would want to use a Manual Transport Chair Wheelchair, a Standard Manual Wheelchair , a Heavy Duty Manual Wheelchair, or Standard All Terrain Manual Wheelchair
If you have issues with balance, weakness while standing, or need firm support to help you walk, you should not use a rollator you should use a walker instead.
