Beach Crossers Mobility Rentals serving Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.
Even though our mobility rentals and assistive devices are increasing in both variety and quantity, there are things we do not have. Please consider letting us know if there is something you need that we do not have in our inventory. In addition, if you don’t see what you need, contact us. It’s possible we already have something that is not yet listed on the website.
Beach Crossers Mobility Rentals means many things:
Accessible transportation with a private driver.
We have three personal vans that we use both for moving equipment and for transportation. They are Dodge Caravans with manual side or rear ramps. They can accommodate the person in the mobility device and 2-3 additional people depending on which van. All vans have air conditioning and full securement.
Of course, we rent Beach wheelchairs and beach strollers.
That was the original plan. Now we do so much more, but beach mobility rentals are the foundation of who we are. We believe everyone should be able to go to the beach regardless of mobility limitations. We have three styles of beach wheelchairs and one option for the little ones.
Powerchairs and mobility scooters.
Because one size does not fit all, we have a variety of products. We have 3-wheel scooters in the lightweight, standard and heavy-duty. In addition, we have 4-wheel scooters in standard, heavy-duty and heavy-duty extra large. We have power chairs in standard, heavy-duty and portable.
We have a couple of different styles of crutches. Obviously, they are available in different lengths as well. Also, standard walkers in both lightweight and heavy-duty. Of course, the very popular rollators in various sizes. And recently, we added knee scooters to our inventory.

Most resorts allow uninterrupted delivery of our products to their property, but not all. We do not rent to the resort. We rent to you. That being said, we work successfully with many concierges who will both receive and return the equipment for you. We always like to meet our clients, but that’s not always practical. If you are staying at a VIDANTA property, please contact us before completing your booking.

Why we rent mobility equipment
We understand mobility limitations. For years we vacationed in Vallarta with Mom. She had pulmonary fibrosis and used a wheelchair. It was very difficult. For the longest time, we said, “Someone should do something!” One day, we realized that we were “someone”. The three of us began the process of starting Beach Crossers. Mom’s health declined. We finished the paperwork in January of 2014 and a few days later Mom passed away. She continues to be the inspiration for this crazy adventure. Soon after opening, we both left our teaching positions. For Sheri, that was 6th-grade math and science. For Terrie, high school science and PE. We love what we do. Now, our clients inspire us.
