This is the time that you will be available to MEET US to receive the delivery. HOLIDAYS HAVE LIMITED HOURS. CHECK THE HOLIDAY LIST. If we cannot meet you at your preferred delivery time, we will contact you in advance via email. If you need to change your preferred delivery time, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We only have time in our schedule to wait 15 minutes. If we have to reschedule the delivery, there will be additional fees. Where will you be staying? *

Please include the name of the property and if possible the address. There are many properties in the area that share the same name. There are a few locations where we can leave the equipment with the bellmen, but generally, we meet you in the lobby or outside the gate.

Will you be staying at any of the following locations? *

Dreams Bahia Mita -- You must contact the concierge to allow us through the gate. If we have to make a second trip, there will be an additional delivery fee.

Secrets Vallarta Bay -- You must be in the lobby at the scheduled delivery time. The concierge needs to call the gate when we arrive.

Vidanta -- You must coordinate with us to meet you in the arrival area. We cannot wait and we cannot go onto the property.

I am not staying at any of the above locations.

Holiday Return *

If your RETURN is on any of the listed holidays, there MAY BE AN EXTRA FEE, and delivery hours may be reduced. Some restrictions are location-dependent. Most hour limitations are for areas south of Avenida Fluvial.

Sand Rider Amphibious Beach Wheelchair

Not all beach wheelchair are created equal! This wheelchair is a little taller than other amphibious beach wheelchairs. That height makes it both easier for getting in and out and more closely matches the height of beach lounge chairs so you won't feel like you are left out of the conversation. The big balloon tires make the chair easy to push through both hard and soft sand. In addition, the comfortable push bar provides leverage for steering in soft sand. You can take this chair right into the pool or gentle surf. It is not intended to be a flotation device. You can use the chair to get in the water if you want to swim, or if you have another flotation device.

Things to consider about this option.

The Sand Rider amphibious beach wheelchair is a large piece of mobility equipment. You cannot take it through a standard doorway nor into most elevators. It does not fit easily into a vehicle for transportation. You can always call Beach Crossers and we can deliver you and the Sand Rider to where you want to go. Check out our transportation page for some pricing guidelines. If you are staying in a resort or condominium there is generally somewhere to store the Sand Rider downstairs. Usually, the bellmen will store the beach wheelchair until you need it. You should check with your concierge to find out your options.

We have two other beach wheelchair options. Be sure to compare each to find the choice that is right for you. Another amphibious option is the Hippocampi. For a comfortable chair to use on the beach without the option to swim, try the less expensive Debug.

Rental rates for the Sand Rider amphibious beach wheelchair

The price of the Sand Rider amphibious beach wheelchair is $40 USD per day.

Free local delivery is included with a minimum 3-day rental.

1-2 days is $40 USD per day with an added delivery charge.

Rentals of 3-6 days are $40 USD/day and delivery is included to MOST LOCATIONS.

You get a 10% discount for rentals of 7-13 days.

Also, if you rent for a total of 14-20 days you get a 15% discount.

A 25% discount is given for rentals of 21-27 days

and for long term rentals of 28-90 days there is a 50% discount.
